Ket-Chun-Eny Lodge

We stayed four days in one of the cabins, which was simple and rustic but clean and comfortable. This is an excellent jumping off point for some great fishing in Lake Temagami. Owners Reilly and Dominique were very friendly and accommodating and have plans to further update and modernize Ket-Chun-Eny Lodge over the coming years. Had a memorable time experiencing a true northern fishing lodge.

What a great week at Ket-Chun-Eny Lodge. This island offers so much! There’s a small beach and swimming area with a jumping platform. We spent hours in the lake with the kids. There are kayaks, a canoe and a paddleboard to use at your leisure. There is also the option for motor boat rental or even guided fishing with one of the hosts, Rielly. We elected for the guided fishing and it was an amazing experience. Rielly supplied the rods, the live bait and helped us with technique. We were catching walleye all morning. The hostess, Dom, was taking care of the island all week and making sure everyone was comfortable. She was very accommodating for us. I’m leaving out so much, like the games room with pool table, the sauna, the beautiful scenery and sitting by the fire listening to the loons calling. Thank you for a great week away from the city.

Fantastic Fishing with a well maintained property and clean lodgings. Excellent views, surprisingly private, it's the perfect spot to enjoy and access the lake from.

Our family had an awesome time here. We went with a group and rented out the entire island which was so cool. We spent all day by the beach/dock and had great sleeps with the windows open listening to the sound of the lake outside. Our rooms were spotless and the hosts were so friendly. We’d love to come back!

We just had a fanatic week at Ket-Chun-Eny! 2 adults with a toddler and an infant who don't fish all that much are probably not the target audience for a lodge on Lake Temagami, but you couldn't tell by how much there was to keep our family entertained! My toddler loved playing on the beach, no matter how small, and the water around the main dock area is nice and shallow for smaller humans. The adults had a blast jumping off the swimming platform into the lake! The grounds were quite well kept while we were there - trim grass, no garbage, etc. We didn't even get any dock slivers! (which is saying something cause my toddler was basically break dancing on there playing with his toys). The lodge games room is the most fully equipped room of its kind that I've seen at any comparable facility. We immediately took photos to brag to our games-obsessed friends about where we were for the week! Dom and Rielly were attentive to our needs even though they had to leave the island once our twice during our visit to do other jobs. The cabin we stayed in was PERFECT for a family. And the Temagami air had all 4 of us sleeping like babies. We chatted with Dom and Rielly about their future plans for the island and we are so excited to see what they do with the place! We are already planning our trip back next summer, when we hope to rent the whole island with a bunch of young families! I hope to make our visits to Ket-Chun-Eny an annual tradition! My son is already asking to go back...

Just got back from a three day trip at ket-chun-eny lodge. Our group consisted of four young adults, two of which were not avid fishermen/women. This did not matter as the lodge caters to all groups. We didn't have to go far to catch fish. The dock below our cabin was a small mouth gold mine. We caught over 20 and stopped taking count after an hour and a half. We loved spending the day on the dock fishing, having good conversation and looking at the beautiful scenery. We even saw two eagles while we were fishing and let me tell you nothing can beat a temagami sunset! My friends loved taking out the kayaks, playing pool and darts in the game room and lounging around the fire playing guitar and roasting marshmellows. The stars were the most beautiful I had ever seen. Dom and Reilly were very accommodating and made sure that we had everything we needed and were comfortable during our visit. The cabin was clean and the grounds were well kept. I cannot wait to see what they do with the place over the next couple of years as you can see the love and passion they have for their business. Not to mention their four legged children are pretty awesome too. My friends and I have found a new spot to start a yearly tradition. The only complaint that I have is that we couldn't stay longer as three days was not enough to enjoy all temagami and ket-chun-eny has to offer!

Beautiful place on an island. Great fishing. Comfy cabins with fully equipped kitchen, fridge, tv and BBQ. Very welcoming and caring owners. Be prepared against deer-flies and mosquitoes. Any spray, coils, nets, citronella candles - everything! Oh, and your phones won't have any service there, but there is wifi which can be sometimes stronger and sometimes weaker. Helped me get distracted from my device addiction.

Amazing place, a personal favorite. I never fail to catch walleye when I visit, which is at least once a year for over a decade. Relaxed atmosphere and great owners. Ideal location on lake for fishing and day trips as its well centered.
